Homemade Lemonad Recipe

homemadelemonade

It's fun to make homemade lemonade with children and it's something different than making cookies, although very nice in a glass of homemade lemonade. Homemade lemonade tastes better and is much healthier then the lemonade you buy in the shop.

Try this homemade lemonade recipe and taste the difference.

(This syrup will remain 14 days in the fridge.)

Needed:
20 organic lemons, well washed
500 grams (cane) sugar
7 cups water

1. Peel half of the lemons and squeeze them all.
2. Put the juice and lemon peel in a pan.
3. Add sugar and water and let the mixture simmer for 20 minutes.
4. Remove the skin and leave for 30 minutes.
5. Strain the syrup and allow it to cool down.

Mix one part syrup to three or four parts (spray) water and garnish it with ice cubes, lemon balm leaves and a slice of lemon and you are done with this homemade lemonade recipe. That wasn't so difficult huh?
